DURANGO, Colo. - The Durango Parks and Recreation Department will host the 9th Annual “Healthfx Dirt Lover’s Rally” mountain bike race, Sun., Aug. 24.
The race begins at the Horsegulch Trailhead, near Sonic Drive-in, at 10 a.m. Beginner competitors will ride 6.3 miles; Sport Division competitors will ride a 16-mile course; and Experts, an 18-mile course.
Early registration, on or before Sun. Aug. 17, is $20 (kids under 16 race for free) and includes the race, lunch and a t-shirt. Register on-line at www.active.com or at the Durango Community Recreation Center. Late and day-of registration is $30. Race-day registration will be available at the Horse Gulch trailhead between 8 and 9 a.m.
