DURANGO, Colo. – The City of Durango Parks and Recreation Department kicks off 4th of July festivities on the right foot with the 4th of July Freedom 5K run/walk on Friday morning at 9:00 a.m.
This free and festive race begins at Rotary Park and follows the Animas River Trail. All participants will be entered into a free raffle to win prizes donated by local businesses. A prize will also be presented for the most “creative” patriotic racing attire.
Check-in for the event begins at 8:30 a.m. at Rotary Park. For additional information, contact Heidi Schaiberger, 375.7306.
