DURANGO, Colo. – La Plata County will host the La Plata County Compass Summit, Fri., July 18, at 2:00 p.m. at the La Plata County Fairgrounds Extension Building, 2500 Main Avenue, Durango.
The La Plata County Compass is the strategic plan adopted by the Board of County Commissioners earlier this year. The meeting will provide an overview of the plan, explore alignment among organizations to achieve plan objectives and provide an introduction to the county’s new “Results Initiative Funding” process for the 2009 budget.
Attendees are invited to explore opportunities to collaboratively address recognized needs in the community. All members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend.
