Snowdown - Late January, early February Snowdown 2007 will be the 29th annual edition of Colorado’s premiere winter celebration, with more than 60 events taking place Jan. 31 – Feb. 4, 2007	Arts Festival - Mid August Great quality fine crafts and art from artisans and artists nation-wide as well as presenting eclectic local and regional performers
Bluegrass Meltdown - April Colorado's premier indoor spring bluegrass festival	Durango Oktoberfest - Late Sept/Oct. Downtown event offers great food, beer, music and family type activities.
Taste of Durango - May Durango, Colorado’s premier festival showcasing the fabulous fare of our fine restaurants.	Cowboy Gathering - Early October The Gathering is an exciting, fun-filled event with evening performances and Saturday daytime sessions. Poets and musicians from throughout the country grace our local stages.
Iron Horse Bicycle Classic - Memorial Day Weekend Iron Horse features a 47- mile road race, and 52- mile road tour on the scenic and mountainous Highway 550, racing the train finishing in Silverton.
