Music in the Mountains Benefit event at Sorrel Sky

DURANGO, CO. – Sorrel Sky Gallery in Durango will be hosting a benefit event, Cocktails with the Conductor, on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Not only does this event allow you to be the first to hear about the much anticipated festival season from Music in the Mountains own Music Director Guillermo Figueroa, you’ll also be celebrating with Music in the Mountains as the organization celebrates 31 years within the Durango community!

While guests sip on a signature martini or an opulent glass of wine provided by Star Liquors and indulge in delicious hors d’oeuvres by Hot Tomatoes, guests can bid in a live auction for the chance to host their own event with world-renowned musicians. Imagine Festival Orchestra musicians mesmerizing your guests in the privacy of your backyard! These exclusive packages also include additions to make the event easy on the host – floral arrangements, catering, chocolate from Animas Chocolate Company and even pre-party pampering.

The beautiful atmosphere of Sorrel Sky Gallery is the perfect place to kick off the 2017 Music in the Mountains’ season and unveil this year’s festival artwork. Tickets are $50 and may be purchased in advance online at www.MusicintheMountains.com, in person at the Festival Office located at 1063 Main Avenue in downtown Durango, or by calling (970) 385-6820.
