Curb Appeal

Curb Appeal

Updating the exterior of your home can add a lot of curb appeal to your property. Realtor.com recommends these easy things to spruce up the outside look.

Paint can add a fresh new cover not only your house but shed, garage, fence, and more. Picking the right color and maybe a complimentary accent color for the trim will make a world of difference. While you’re looking at the trim, see if it needs any recaulking. The front door can also be repainted, as well as switching out old hardware. Windows are an essential part of the home, letting in natural light, insulating, and ventilation, and upgrading them will not only look more modern, but add to the R-Value of your home.

Adding landscaping whether with green grass, planted trees and shrubs, flower beds, or xeriscaping with rock work, mulch, and drought tolerant plants will make your front yard look put together. Having a nice set of table and chairs, fireplace, grill, or other yard décor will take advantage of that outdoor living space. You’ll be amazed at what a pressure washer can do for your patio, deck, driveways, sidewalk, and the exterior of your house as tolerated! After the snow melts and the spring winds die down, this is a simple and affordable weekend project that can make a big difference.
