Michal Menert and Late Night Radio with Josh Teed

8:00pm / Animas City Theatre
$25 / $30 / 21+   Michal Menert  Menert, widely regarded as the godfather of Electro Soul is rising like a phoenix from the ashes. With one of his most highly anticipated albums releasing just last week on Philos, and a sold out Meow Wolf Denver show – the sky is the limit for one of the most passionate artists of our time. We have a lot of great content for ads to be run around our forthcoming shows and are looking forward to sharing a ton of new music with his dedicated and still growing fan base.Michal Menert has many claims to fame – one of which being that he co-produced the chart topping Pretty Lights album Taking Up Your Precious Time and was the first artist to join Pretty Lights Music. He has shared the stage with musical luminaries including Run The Jewels, STS9, and more, and played legendary venues including the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, The Gorge in Washington and Red Rocks Amphitheater.    Late Night Radio  Long before he cooked up his hypnotic hybrid of electronic music, hip-hop, soul, and funk, the artist born Alex Medellin spent countless hours watching mom sing two masses every week. Learning guitar and piano throughout his childhood, obsessing over everything from UGK and DJ Screw to The Doors and The Beatles, and internalizing those formative experiences, he capitalizes on that latent influence with his 2018 full-length debut, the appropriately titled Sunday?. He describes his music as ‘electronic music for people who don’t really like electronic music.’
