Tired of being at home?  Join us for our 1st ever Treasure Hunt!

The Women’s Resource Center Treasure Hunt is an event taking place to celebrate and honor Women’s History Month throughout March 2021.  Due to COVID restrictions, we’ve made it an outdoor event to give people the opportunity to get out and enjoy friends and family, and to complete some fun interactive challenges together while at the same time supporting a worthy cause.

All participants will complete a circuit starting on the Animas River Trail (between the DoubleTree Hotel and Albertsons) with a total of 10 sequential “Challenges” that will end at the Strater Hotel.  The whole circuit should take no longer than approx an hour to complete, though there will also be ample opportunities to support local businesses along the route so it could potentially take a bit longer!

This important fundraiser asks participants to register for an individual fee of $20 (more is always welcome if they wish to donate extra).  Upon registering, participants will receive a special “Treasure Code” to activate and upload the Treasure Hunt App that will guide them through the hunt. “Treasure” prizes will be awarded for completion of specific challenges, including correct answers, timing, fun photos, videos and costumes. Participants can complete the circuit anytime between March 1st to March 25th.

The “Treasure Awards” ceremony will be held at the Secret Garden, Rochester Hotel on Saturday, March 27th from 12pm – 2pm (weather permitting).   At the ceremony we will also belatedly honor Tiffany Lee as the recipient of the 2020 Extraordinary Woman Award, since COVID prevented us from honoring her with our traditional fundraising dinner event in 2020.
