The Mushroom & Wine Festival at Purgatory Resort presented by Vectra Bank has become a “wildly” popular event on Durango’s summer calendar. The forested area around the Resort is known far and wide for having an abundance of wild
mushrooms. Our Mushroom & Wine Festival celebrates this abundance with guided mushroom hunts and a culinary showcase of Durango’s finest restaurants.

This event sold out last year! Each portion of the festival is sold individually.
Participating Restaurants
Each year we invite six local restaurants to participate in the culinary showcase on Saturday afternoon. Our own chefs from Purgy’s also participate in the festival with their own mushroom dish and a mushroom dessert.
Our goal is to partner with the finest restaurants in Durango to make this a truly exceptional experience for our guests.
