accumulations of 4 to 8 inches favoring the southern San Juan
mountains above 9500 feet and some south facing slopes. Winds
gusting as high as 45 mph above timberline.
* WHERE…Southwest San Juan Mountains and Northwest San Juan
Mountains.
* WHEN…Until 11 PM MST this evening.

Snow and Icy Rain is projected for our Durango Area over this weekend. With the chance of showers increasing through the night, evening temperatures may drop to 43 degrees F on Friday night and 29 degrees on Saturday night. Thunderstorms are expected on Saturday.

In Durango, Sunday night and Monday are our two best nights for snow with Monday night getting down to a chilling temperature of 9 degrees Fahrenheit, which will be the coldest time of the week, Some of the higher peaks may get a half a foot of snow… let’s hope so!!
