Join resident paranormal observer and Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad museum curator Jeff Ellingson, as he guides you on a fascinating walking tour of some of the most haunted locations at the railroad. As you are guided across the railyard past the roundhouse, the warehouse, the box cars and the museum, you will learn about the rich history of each… and where poltergeists are whispered to appear on nights such as these!
All of these structures have a story to tell- the tracks, the buildings and the landscape. Many mysterious happenings have occurred here over the 137 year history of the railroad. While you may pause to snap a photo of a train or railroad structure, be aware that you might not be alone! For as storied and as old as these structures may be, more than a few are thought to be haunted by the spectors of days long ago…haunted by the ghosts of Durango’s past!
