Have you ever been on a dog sled? Durango Dog Ranch offers tours from the base of Purgatory. Guests receive a mushing lesson, then ride the sled, and finish with a hot chocolate. On Friday, December 21, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church hosts “The Majesty of Christmas,” an evening of Christmas music. There will be soprano Gemma Kavanagh, flutist Rochelle Mann, Durango Chamber Singers, trumpeter Marc Reed and pianist/organist C. Scott Hagler. Support these musicians with a peaceful evening out.
Did you know it’s possible to ride on a sleigh? Rapp Corral offers horse-drawn sleigh rides through the winter wonderland. They have five different sleighs, so various-sized groups are possible.
