It’s the Taste of Durango, and there will be local breweries and restaurants representing their fine selection of food and drinks. It will be held on Main Avenue in Downtown Durango from 11-3. In addition to all sorts of food, there will be music and dancing as well! This event is a blast, with people gathered together tasting our unique cuisine and running into friends and neighbors. A close-knit community is one of the perks of living in a small town. Durango takes cuisine seriously, and this is a fantastic way to support our local restaurants and sample a variety of foods.
This event is produced by Durango’s Chapter of the Colorado Restaurant Association, which includes members from many of our local restaurants. Each year, the event raises around $12,000 for local non-profit organizations.
This year, vendors at Taste of Durango include: SKA Brewing, Steamworks, Carver Brewing Co., El Moro, Serious Texas Bar-B-Q, Grassburger, and more. The event entrance is free, but each food, dessert, and drink item all require tickets to enjoy. So, the event recommends about 20 tickets for a good time.
