Tina Valles comes to Team Pagosa

Tina moved to Pagosa Springs in 2005 and still feels like she’s on vacation when enjoying everything this beautiful mountain town has to offer.

She was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Copenhagen, Denmark where she met her husband of 30 years and had their 2 children. They lived in the Mammoth Lakes CA area for some years and fell in love with the mountains, but returned to Denmark for a while.

The mountain bug would not go away, so they travelled to CO in search of the perfect place to call home and stumbled across Pagosa Springs. Falling in love right then and there, they returned to Denmark and continued their moving process – arriving in Pagosa Springs 3 months later with 2 children (not speaking English) 8 suitcases and a shipping container on its way!

Their children quickly learned the language and grew up with the Pagosa Springs mountain lifestyle skiing and snowboarding Wolf Creek, hiking, camping, horseback riding, mountain biking, snow shoeing, cross country skiing and hanging out by the river.

Tina and her daughter had a dream of having their own horses and bought acreage to realize the dream. They still have their family horse, Only One and recently adopted Journey, a paint pony who had been at a local Rescue for 8 years. Tina’s daughter is studying to be a Vet Tech and dreams about having her own animal rescue. Her son is a talented photographer and videographer, and helps with all the real estate photos – both children have decided to stay here in the mountains!

Her husband is a local plumber and they love mountain biking together, hitting the trails locally and also travel to their favorite spots in Moab and Sedona,
