3rd Annual Toyed With Show

Durango, CO – It all started three years ago when Arts Perspective magazine facilitated its first international photography competition, Toyed With, sponsored by Open Shutter Gallery.

It started with images shot with toy and vintage cameras or printed in alternative processes. The inaugural event was juried by local photographer, Kit Frost. The following year was juried by Holga Queen, Michelle Bates author of two books on toy cameras. And this year, we have split the original vision of the show to focus solely on images captured with toy and vintage cameras. Alterative processes will be the focus of the upcoming Altered show. We are also pleased to announce Christine So, marketing director of Holga, Inc. jury this year’s international submissions.

Toyed With, a juried photography exhibit for those shooting with toy or vintage cameras. The exhibition will be held August 3-September 3 in the Red Room at Open Shutter Gallery (www.openshuttergallery.com) in Durango, Colorado.
