In order to help locals and visitors to have a holly, jolly Christmas, several restaurants in Durango plan to offer options for Christmas Eve & Christmas Day dinner. Please note that restaurants may have multiple plans that cover different levels of COVID restrictions, so check back closer to Christmas to see which plans will be in place.
Kennebec Cafe
The Kennebec Cafe plans to be open on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day for dine-in from 5-9 pm if COVID restrictions allow. If restrictions only allow for carry-out service, they will offer pick-up on Christmas Eve. Reservations would be required for both scenarios at least 48 hours in advance.
The Ore House
The Ore House in Durango is offering take-away Christmas dinners this year. Main dish options include king crab, prime rib and confit turkey. Each feast is served with an array of seasonal side dishes. The feasts are available for preorder online with pickup available on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of December.
HomeSlice Pizza
All four HomeSlice Pizza locations will be open on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day. They will either offer takeout or dine-in service on Christmas Eve, depending on what local COVID regulations allow. They offer delicious pizza combining New York and Chicago Styles, as well as a full bar at each location.
PRIMI Pasta & Wine Bar
PRIMI Pasta & Wine Bar brings authentic Italian food to Durango. If you are looking for a delicious Christmas Eve meal, PRIMI will be open for takeout or dine-in depending on local regulations. PRIMI Pasta & Wine Bar will be closed on Christmas Day. Check their website for the most up-to-date hours and information for the holidays.
The Bookcase & Barber
The Bookcase and Barber will be closed on Christmas Day. On Christmas Eve, they will have a special Christmas Eve Cocktail pick-up from 3pm-7pm. Pre-orders are greatly appreciated for pickup and can be sent to [email protected]. These cocktails are great to spice up your holiday plans and take a little bit of work out of the preparations.
Gazpacho Durango
Gazpacho New Mexican Cooking y Cantina in Durango will be open on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day for 2020. Depending on local regulations, diners will be able to dine-in or take food and drinks to go on Christmas Eve. They are open from 11:30 AM to 9 PM.
Oscars Cafe Of Durango
Oscars Cafe in Durango will be open on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day. They have outdoor dining options, plus curbside pickup, takeout and online ordering. They are open from 7 am to 2 pm. Oscars is a 50’s style diner that serves breakfast and lunch options.
