4th Annual Durango Voice Fundraiser
The Durango Voice – similar to the TV show “The Voice”, is a fundraiser for Manna (formerly Manna Soup Kitchen).
Vocalists of all ages and all levels from around the area have submitted their audition to compete in the Durango Voice. Eighteen selected contestants will perform before a live audience at the Henry Strater Theatre for the live blind auditions on February 23, 2019.
The competing contestants are hoping that one or all of the four judges will turn their chair around and choose them to receive a month of professional voice coaching and go on to the finals. Each judge will select three finalists for a total of twelve who will move forward to the finals. The finalists will compete again at the Strater Theatre on Saturday, April 6th, three winners will be selected from the twelve contestants. They will receive gift certificates and prizes in addition to singing engagements around town.
