State Street Ballet of Santa Barbara returns for the holiday season with “The Nutcracker” accompanied by Durango’s own San Juan Symphony. This magical story is a favorite for audiences of all ages. The magnificent, opulent sets, complete with a gloriously gigantic Christmas tree, came all the way from Russia to set the backdrop for glittering snowflakes, waltzing flowers, the Sugar Plum Fairy and her enchanting castle of characters – including local dancers and singers.
