DURANGO, Colo. – Alpine Bank of Durango and the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College have teamed up once again to present the free summer “Concerts in the Park” in Durango’s Buckley Park, Thursdays, June 18 through July 30, 2015. All shows are scheduled for 5:30-7:30 p.m.

§ June 25 – The Tyler Gummersall Band – popular Country from one of Bayfield’s own homegrown success stories.

§ July 2 – Leftover Cuties – timeless jazz-tinged sound, combining sultry vocals, pop-perfect songwriting and seasoned musicianship.

§ July 9 – Sneaky Pete and the Secret Weapons – a return of the Jackson, Wyo., band with original and popular dance tunes inspired by the “funkiness of life in the mountains.”

§ July 23 – Bacon – funk, soul and ska band from Durango, known for its dance-inspiring, horn-heavy grooves.

§ July 30 – SHEL – infectious pop-folk with a subtle hint of indie songs from this Fort Collins-based group of sisters.

Concertgoers are asked to bring their own chairs or blankets, as seating will not be provided at Buckley Park. Fired Up Pizza will have the popular restaurant’s food cart at the park with food for sale, but picnics are encouraged.
