For years, the La Plata County Fair has brought generations of families, friends and neighbors together to showcase the county’s best animals, garden products and the many fabulous foods and crafts of our outstanding community.
We encourage you to enjoy the great talent, great music, good eats and exciting entertainment with your family and friends at this ‘udderly’ extraordinary community event!
The La Plata County Fair is pleased to announce this year’s “Friday at the Fair” Concert will feature The Bellamy Brothers. Gates open at 6:00 pm on Friday. Opening act begins at 6:45 and headliner at 8:00 pm. General admission is $25 – bring camp chairs. Grandstand seating is $45.

This year’s theme, “75 years of Kids, Critters and Cowboys” is a look at the County’s rich traditions which bind residents to their past and connect them to their future. The Fair is a great opportunity for community members to gather together and honor the hard work of our talented residents who grow, raise, make, create, and share what they do each year.
