The Durango Celtic Festival is back for its 11th season, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! Mark your calendars for March 28 – 29, 2025, and join us in Durango for two days of unforgettable live Celtic music. This year’s festival features an incredible lineup of Old Blind Dogs, Dàimh and Heron Valley.
The Durango Celtic Festival is a 2 day celebration of live Celtic music. You’ll hear the sounds of Ireland, Scotland, the Hebrides and Cape Breton, plus additional original blends.

Old Blind Dogs
Since forming in the early 1990’s, Old Blind Dogs have stood on the cutting edge of Scotland’s roots revival. The band has developed its own trademark style with an energetic mix of songs and tunes. Dynamic percussion, polished vocals, soaring fiddle and stirring pipes fuel delicately-phrased melodies and traditional songs. Dàimh
Taking their name from the Gaelic word for kinship, Dàimh (pronounced dive) fuse together music from across the Celtic diaspora, from pyrotechnic jigs and reels to achingly poignant ballads, running the full expressive gamut of folk music at its best. Renowned for their thrilling live shows, they are a long-established favorite at folk festivals in Scotland, Ireland, and across Europe. We are excited to welcome back Angus MacKenzie (pipes/whistle), Murdo Cameron (mandola, accordion), Ellen MacDonald (vocals), Alasdair White (fiddle), and Ross Martin (guitar) to our festival stage! https://www.daimh.net/
Heron Valley
Known for their energetic performances, Heron Valley features driving rhythms, intricate melodies, and heartfelt lyrics to create a sound that is both deeply rooted in tradition and refreshingly modern. Abigail Pryde (fiddle, guitar, vocals), Keith Morrison (keys), Kenneth Macfarlane (pipes, whistle), and Callum Cronin (bass) incorporate elements of Scottish and Irish folk, bluegrass, and even rock, resulting in a vibrant and eclectic repertoire that resonates with audiences of all ages. https://www.heronvalleyband.com/
The Community Concert Hall is located on the Fort Lewis College campus at 1000 Rim Drive in Durango, Colorado. The Box Office at the Community Concert Hall opens one (1) hour prior to show time & remains open through intermission. If there is no intermission, the box office will stay open one (1) hour past curtain.
