Customers, Vendors & Community

The Durango Farmers Market is more than just a place to shop. Visitors can enjoy ready-to-eat treats, fresh meals, local drinks, and live music while spending a relaxed Saturday morning downtown. Many of the farmers and food producers you’ll meet at the market also supply ingredients to local grocery stores and restaurants throughout Durango. Supporting local food has long been part of the culture in this active mountain town, and the market continues to celebrate the farmers, makers, and community that make it possible.

Where to Park for the Durango Farmers Market

The Durango Farmers Market takes place in the TBK Bank parking lot in downtown Durango, and several nearby parking options make it easy to visit. Free parking is available at the Durango Transit Center lot on 8th Street, just a short walk from the market. Street parking and additional public lots can also be found throughout downtown. Arriving earlier in the morning is usually the easiest way to find a convenient spot, especially during the busy summer months.

It is the mission of the Durango Farmers Market to strengthen community ties to agriculture: by providing a venue for regional agricultural producers to sell their products; by preserving open space; by promoting healthy farming practices; and by providing educational benefits through hands-on experience. The Durango Farmers Market seeks to improve the quality of life for all community members.
