Seasons Rotisserie & Grill’s annual fundraiser set for Dec. 13
Anniversary party will raise funds for Housing Solutions for the Southwest
Durango, CO – Seasons Rotisserie & Grill in Downtown Durango will once again celebrate its anniversary giving back to community with a special evening fundraiser at the restaurant Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016. The special evening at the restaurant will benefit Housing Solutions for the Southwest.
From 6 to 9 p.m., community members are invited to drop into Seasons at 764 Main Ave. for samples of the latest menu offerings as well as traditional fare and fine wines, no reservations required. A minimum $40 per person donation for Housing Solutions is requested (cash value $100). An additional cash bar will be available. Seasons’ staff will donate their time for the evening.
“Seasons is now one of a small group of long-standing restaurants in Durango,” said Karen Barger, owner/general manager. “We are very grateful for our success, and thus always feel it’s important to give back. Instead of having just a party, we wanted to make our anniversary count. Every year we look to a different non-profit organization, and since affordable housing is such an issue in our community, we’re pleased to help Housing Solutions.”
Seasons Rotisserie & Grill opened in December 1994 as a forward-looking restaurant, the first in town to celebrate “the seasons,” evolving its menu throughout the year to embrace locally raised and seasonal foods of the region.
Spring 2009 brought the Phoenix from the literal ashes, as Seasons reopened after being closed for one year following the February 2008 fire in the 700 block of Main Ave. that destroyed the establishment. In recent years the growth of local farming has allowed the Seasons concept to expand beyond its original vision, with a majority of the menu items prepared now incorporating locally grown or raised produce, meats and more.
Seasons Rotisserie & Grill, 764 Main Ave., Historic Downtown Durango (970.382.9790), offers fresh, seasonal cuisine in a casually elegant atmosphere. Dinner served daily from 5:30 p.m., with the bar opening at 4 p.m. for cocktails and appetizers. Lunch servedMonday-Friday, 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m..
