2nd Annual TOP Event

Durango, CO – New Face Productions will host the second annual TOP event on Friday, September 23, 2011 at the Durango Arts Center (DAC). TOP is a juried garment design exhibition and auction fundraiser to support adult programs at DAC. In early summer, artists were provided with a stylish, high-quality t-shirt and invited to refashion it with their own innovative, original design. This year an accessory category was added; artists received a yard of t-shirt fabric to create an original scarf, belt, purse, jewelry, etc. Juried designs will be modeled and auctioned at the catered TOP event. The event night will be preceded by a five-day exhibition of the garments. Artists receive a 50% commission on selected and successfully auctioned designs.
New Face Productions is an awareness and fundraising group formed to promote the Durango Arts Center by serving the artists, residents and visitors in the community by creating adult, cutting-edge, innovative, and profitable events.
