Bar-D Wranglers Christmas Jubilee returns to the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College, Dec. 12

 

DURANGO, Colo. – Durango’s much-beloved cowboy crooners come off the Bar-D and step on to the stage at the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College for the Bar-D Wranglers Christmas Jubilee, Sat., Dec. 12, at 7 p.m. LIMITED TICKETS REMAIN.
                Founded by Cy Scarborough in 1969, the Bar-D Wranglers offer their own unique style of Western music, cowboy poetry and humor. The Christmas Jubilee is a warm-hearted and fun-filled show that inspires the entire family to remember the true meaning of the holidays.

Known for summer entertainment at the Bar-D Chuckwagon, the Wranglers are Gary Cook (guitar), Levi Mullen (guitar) Matt Palmer (fiddle) and Joel Racheff (upright bass, mandolin, guitar, banjo). As a special treat, the Wranglers will be joined on stage during the Christmas Jubilee by Lisa Blue, the popular honey-voiced songstress and songwriter, harvested from Hawaii and now replanted in Durango.

Tickets for The Bar D Wranglers Christmas Jubilee – $15 for Balcony and Orchestra, $20 for Plaza – are available on the web at www.durangoconcerts.com or by calling 970.247.7657 or 877.282.9992, or at the Ticket Office in Downtown Durango at 7th and Main Ave. All sales final.
Showtime is 7 p.m., with doors to the Concert Hall and concessions, serving beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks, opening at 6 p.m.

The Community Concert Hall is located in the growing arts complex of Fort Lewis College.  It operates through a partnership with the college, a state-supported, independent institution of higher education, as well as the city of Durango, and with financial and in-kind contributions from generous members of the community.
