Cowboy and songwriter Sid Hausman to Perform at Library
Durango, CO – Sid Hausman, cowboy balladeer, songwriter, and children’s book author from Tesuque, New Mexico, will perform at the Durango Public Library on Wednesday, September 30th at 7 p.m. prior to the Durango Cowboy Poetry Gathering. Sid’s music is a blend of folk and Western Americana. He plays a variety of instruments including the banjo, 12-string guitar, baritone ukulele, harmonica, and bones. He has performed around the United States at concerts and workshops and has performed four times at the Edinburgh International Folk Festival in Scotland. Sid is the author and illustrator of two children’s books, One Bullfrog and Cactus Critter Bash, which are available at the library.
