Library’s Film Noir Series to Feature “Split Second”

Durango, CO: The Durango Public Library continues its film series “Death on the Cheap: The Killer B’s of Film Noir” on Wednesday, February 8 at 6:00 p.m. with a screening of “Split Second.”

This film could just as well have been named “The Atomic Noir”, capitalizing on the Sci-Fi craze of the 1950s. Sadly, while there are no colossal hit men or 50-foot femme fatales in the film, the atomic age is well represented, in a most chilling fashion, by the film’s conclusion.
