Library to Host “Death on the Cheap: The Killer B’s of Film Noir”

Durango, CO:  The Durango Public Library is once again delving into the world of Film Noir with “Death on the Cheap: The Killer B’s of Film Noir.”  The first film “Detour”, starring Tom Neal and Ann Savage, will be screened at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14.  In this series, we’ll be visiting the bitter world of the B-noir that knows no happy ending.  Your guide down these dark streets will be Film Noir Foundation member and frequent film reviewer Dennis Taylor.  “Death on the Cheap” runs from September through May on the second Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.  For more information, including specific films and dates, please visit www.durangopubliclibrary.org.
