Local Wildlife Photographers Sought for Exhibit at Library

Durango, CO –   Local photographers are invited to submit their work for “The Beast in

the Library: Wildlife Photography” an upcoming photography exhibit at the Durango Public Library.  The exhibit will run from September 13, 2009 through October 24, 2009  as part of the Common Reading Experience centered on David Baron’s book The Beast

in the Garden. 

 

Submissions will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 12 at the Library.  There is a $5.00 entry fee per item with a limit of three entries per person. Contact information for individual photographers may be provided should you wish to sell your work.  Please remember that the library is not a commercial gallery, so transactions may take place privately after the exhibition closes. 

 

The exhibit will be available for viewing during an opening reception on Sunday, September 13 from 3:00-5:00 at the Durango Public Library in Program Rooms 1&2 – after that the exhibit will be available for viewing only during program room events.
