Gourmet Mushroom & Wine Pairing Dinner

You won’t want to miss our popular Mushroom and Wine Festival dinner at 6:30pm on Saturday, August 13th. Our six-course tasting menu features a variety of mushroom dishes paired with complementary wines. Dishes include premium meats and fish, as well as gourmet ingredients sourced from around the globe. Mushroom Hunt and Cooking Demonstration August 14th

Durango Mountain Resort is home to hundreds of varieties of mushrooms and August is the prime time for mushroom hunting on the mountain where you’ll find chanterelle, boletus, oysters and more. Our Mushroom Hunt and Cooking Demonstration includes a guided hike by Chris Ricci, owner of Majesty Mushrooms, an organic mushroom grow house in Cortez, who will educate you on how to find and identify edible mushrooms in the wild. After your hike, you will be treated to a mushroom cooking demonstration and boxed lunch at Dante’s. Package includes transportation to and from the hunt area, cooking demonstration, lunch and guided hunt. Reservations are required and space is limited. Call 970-385-2121 to reserve your spot. $50.
