SASO to Host Third Annual Collaborative Chef Showcase

Durango, CO – Sexual Assault Services Organization (SASO), is proud to present the Third annual Collaborative Chef’s Showcase, which will take place on November 10, 2011 at the Henry Strater Theatre. This year’s event features a 6 course meal paired with fine wines, and all proceeds will benefit Sexual Assault Services Organization.

2011 participating restaurants are the Mahogany Grille, Ore House, Kennebec Café, Bread, Cosmopolitan, and Seasons Rotisserie & Grille. Wines are provided by the enchanting Leah Deane and the Republic National Distributing Company.

Tickets are $100 for general admission and $125 for VIP seats (featuring a private box with hors d’oeuvre’s and champagne in the kitchen with the chefs). Music will be provided by “BLT” from Fort Lewis College, a jazz trio featuring Brian Stoneback, Sean Mallow, and Jamey Olinger.

Sponsors for the 2011 Collaborative Chef’s Showcase are Colorado Fenestra, Riteway Flooring America, and 1st National Bank of Durango.

The Showcase kicks off at 6:30pm and is “Durango Black Tie,” meaning people can dress up however they’d like. Since this event sells out each year, participants are encouraged to get their tickets early.
