Kick off your holiday season with Singing with Santa in Downtown Durango! Join us the day after Thanksgiving for this cherished annual tradition.

Everyone is welcome to Shop, Dine, and Celebrate as we usher in the festive season. Come Downtown to get a head start on your holiday shopping! When you shop and dine in Durango on November 29, enter your receipts into the Holly Jolly Gift Card Drawing for a chance to win. Kids can embrace the holiday spirit by participating in the Singing with Santa Scavenger Hunt, searching for hidden reindeer. The first 50 participants to turn in their scavenger hunt cards will receive a free souvenir Singing with Santa Mug. The celebration begins at 5:30 PM at Buckley Park, where you can sing Christmas carols, enjoy hot chocolate and cookies, and watch as Santa helps light the Community Christmas Tree. Don’t forget to bring your own camera for photos with Santa!

Event Timeline:

• 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM: Scavenger Hunt – Santa’s reindeer have gotten loose and are hiding in Downtown!
  • Get a Scavenger Hunt card at the Durango Welcome Center.
  • Follow the clues to find at least 6 reindeer and get your card marked by each business.
  • Bring your completed card to the Singing with Santa event at Buckley Park, starting at 5:30 PM.
  • The first 50 cards turned in will receive a free Singing with Santa mug!
• 5:30 PM: Arrive early for free hot chocolate and cookies (while supplies last). Bring your own mug or complete the scavenger hunt to earn a commemorative Singing with Santa mug.
• 5:45 PM: Sing Christmas carols and get ready for Santa’s arrival.
• 6:00 PM: Santa arrives, and the Community Christmas Tree will be illuminated.
• 6:15 PM – 7:15 PM: Enjoy free photos with Santa—remember to bring your own camera.
