“This is about being “in” the spirit of INdependent film,” said Joanie Fraughton, DIFF’s Executive Director. “Our theme: Are you In? is a call to action for film enthusiasts throughout the spectrum that creates and delivers fantastic independent film to our audiences.”
In addition to four days and nights of inspiring documentaries, intelligent narrative features, insightful family programming, and ingenious shorts, this year’s festival goers will be treated to some exciting and topical workshops and panels, taking place at Durango’s Back Space Theatre. All Panels and workshops are free and open to the public. On Saturday, enjoy a panel discussion led by Indie Icon Alex Cox on the POWER OF THE STORY. Later that afternoon at 4pm, join the first-time ever STUNTS ON A BUDGET workshop led by legend Bud Davis.
