Heather Leavitt opens her show on The Alternative Process at Open Shutter on October 23, 2009. You don’t want to miss this opening! She shares the gallery with 3 other artists to give our small town a great boom in photography outside the normal processes. This show features alternative photography using techniques that range from the start of photography (1840s) to current technology. Heather Leavitt will feature cyanotypes and ziatypes from her “Memories, Dreams and Fears” series. Henk Thijs from the Netherlands focuses on bromoil and full color gum bichromate.
