Attorney to discuss intellectual property at Small Business Development Center presentation

The Small Business Development Center at Fort Lewis College is sponsoring an “Intellectual Property Law for Small Businesses” presentation on Tuesday, March 16, 2010. The presentation begins at 1 p.m. at the Durango Public Library.

Attorney and Fort Lewis College graduate, Ken Freudenberg, will delve into such intellectual property arenas as copyrights, trademarks and unfair competition. The goal is to help small businesses understand “Is it ours or is it theirs” as “it” refers to intellectual property.
