Durango Public Library Celebrates National Small Business Week
Durango, CO – The Durango Public Library will celebrate National Small Business Week, May 20th thru May 26th in honor of our business community.
On May 21st from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. we invite you to stop by for information regarding the services Durango’s business assistance agencies offer entrepreneurs. The Small Business Development Center, Durango Chamber of Commerce, Business Improvement District and the Durango Public Library will discuss how they can help your business.
On May 22nd from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. there will be a lecture called “Marketing in Troubled Times.” It will be led by Simon Walls, a Fort Lewis business professor, offering some street-smart practical marketing notions focused on how to survive the current economic crises.
On May 23rd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. there will be a panel discussion entitled “Business in Durango.” The panel will consist of five local business owners, each representing a different market segment who will discuss their challenges and successes and answer some of your most pressing business questions. This discussion is for anyone interested in starting a business or currently running a business in Durango. Refreshment will be severed and seating is limited.
