Expert in improving local business to speak at Fort Lewis College

DURANGO – Michelle Long, executive director of Business Alliance for Local Living Economy (BALLE), and co-founder of Sustainable Connections will speak at Fort Lewis College on Thursday, November 12 at 6 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom. Ms. Long’s presentation is part of the La Plata Sustainability Dialogue.

Ms. Long has been instrumental in working with businesses in her own community of Bellingham, WA. She has been key in affecting change-for the better-in the community support and environmental sustainability of local businesses in her area.
