Five business experts leading the Starting Your Business Workshop on August 16
Durango, CO – The Small Business Development Center at Fort Lewis College is once again offering the Starting Your Business Workshop. Open to everyone, this half-day seminar will be held Thursday, August 16, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Durango Public Library.
The workshop features 5 speakers:
· Joe Keck, director for the SW Colorado Small Business Development Center will discuss the steps to take when starting a business in Colorado.
· Jack Llewellyn, executive director for the Durango Chamber of Commerce will provide inexpensive marketing tips and discuss business information that is available to local companies.
· Brad Broyles, business banker from First Southwest Bank will present the different financing options available to small businesses and how to prepare for a small business loan.
· Attorney Linsdey Nicholson will discuss legal structure and answer questions about which one could work for your new company.
· Chuck Fredrick, CPA, will discuss tax implications, legal structure and how this all affects your small business.
