Free workshop on Developing a Marketing Strategy to Win Government Contracts
Durango, CO – The Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center and Colorado’s Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) will host a Free workshop on Developing a Marketing Strategy to Win Government Contracts. The Expand Your Market workshop will be facilitated by PTAC Counselor, Kathryn Lobdell.
The event on Friday, July 25, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., will be held at the Durango Public Library, 1900 East 3rd Ave. in Durango. All business owners, Economic Development and Community Resource Advocates are welcome to attend.
Lobdell will explain how to develop a marketing strategy to earn government contracts. Included are: Researching Your Target Market – learn who’s buying what you’re selling, Presentation Skills – branding, 1-on-1 with buyers, partners and networking, and Win/Win Strategy – Right time/Right place/ Write Proposal Tips.
