Interim Planning Director Named

 

Durango, CO : La Plata County has engaged Gary T. Suiter to serve as interim planning director effective January 3, 2012.  Mr. Suiter earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Urban Geography and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, both from the University of Colorado.  He possesses more than 30 years’ experience in the field of public administration and has served as a former city manager, county manager and community development director. Since 2002, Mr. Suiter has worked with a number of Colorado cities and counties to assist them with interim management services, organizational assessments, recruitments, training and facilitation.  Mr. Suiter can be reached at 970-382-6271
