DURANGO, Colo. – Kogan Builders has been named 2008 Recycler of the Year, an award presented annually by Phoenix Construction Recycling.
Each year Phoenix Construction Recycling calculates the amount of material recycled by the builders of La Plata County that utilize the recycling company’s services. Kogan Builders was awarded Recycler of the Year based on the volume of construction materials the firm recycled.
Kogan Builders, based in Durango, is a custom residential builder actively involved in green building. The firm has been named a Certified Green Professional through the NAHB as well as an Energy Star Partner. Current projects include a certified Built Green Colorado home in Durango, featuring utilization of Phoenix Construction Recycling to ensure compliance with Built Green Colorado standards.
