LEAN Office Workshop

Durango, CO – The Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center and Southwest Colorado Community College are co-sponsoring a LEAN Office workshop on Thursday, November 14, 2013.

The workshop will take place at First National Bank of Durango, Training room, 259 W. 9th Street from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The fee for the all day workshop is $189. per person.

The workshop provides a general overview of the LEAN Principals and incorporates hands-on activities demonstrating how these practical strategies can improve your work environment TODAY! LEAN organizations produce greater value and higher quality in less time.

If you are overwhelmed by paperwork and want to create a more efficient and effective office, this workshop will help you discover value added methods to improve customer service, reduce waste and improve teamwork.
This class will focus on the unique application of LEAN strategies to offices where processes are not always visible. Using an interactive approach, attendees will learn the LEAN tools necessary to create a more effective administrative organization.

Through a combination of lecture, video and in-class activities attendees will learn LEAN concepts and will appreciate the quantifiable benefits that can be achieved by applying LEAN principals in your office. Learn to focus on activities that have value to the customer and show improvements in the bottom line.
