“Listening session” planned for BID Coffee & Conversation
Monthly informational meeting to be held Friday, Jan. 10, 2014
Durango, CO – The monthly BID Coffee & Conversation (BCC), hosted by the Durango Business Improvement District (BID) will be held Friday, January 10, 2014, 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Durango City Hall. All BID constituents, including those on North Main, are encouraged to attend. The BCC was formerly called What’s Up Downtown.
In addition to a brief rundown of up-coming activities that may affect businesses in the District, the City’s Multi-modal Coordinator Amber Blake will discuss the features of the newly installed, high-tech Downtown street parking meters.
“I also look forward to launching what we’re calling our ‘Listening Sessions,'” said BID Executive Director Tim Walsworth. “We want to hear from our constituents their ideas on, for example, the BCC meetings – should they remain at City Hall? Also we are looking at revising our marketing campaign programs for the year. If we’re going to make any changes, we need to get going on our planning.”
To save time, Walsworth is collecting event information in advance of the meeting. Organizers who wish to inform BCC attendees of their upcoming events are asked to email information to Walsworth, [email protected], by end of business on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
BID Coffee & Conversation is held the second Friday of each month. For further information on the BCC meetings, contact Walsworth at 970.375.5068.
