Local Man Arrested for Embezzlement

Durango, CO – On July 16, 2009, Durango Police officers arrested Travis Harrison, 41 of Durango, for felony theft. Harrison worked as a manager for Brown Shoe Fit Company from 2004 until May of this year. He has been accused of embezzling over $191,000 from the company over a period of five years beginning in 2004.
Harrison was placed under arrest for Felony Theft, CRS 18-4-401 and transported to the La Plata County Jail where he remains on a $25,000 bond.
