NxLevel Entrepreneurial training to be held at Fort Lewis College


Durango, CO – The Small Business Development Center at Fort Lewis College is offering a NxLevelTM for Entrepreneurs course beginning September 5, 2012, at Fort Lewis College. The courses, which run until November 21, 2012, will be held from 6-9 p.m. in FLC’s Education Business Hall, Rm. 108. Tuition is $280 for the 12-week class. Individual sessions can be attended for $50 per session.

This 12-session intensive training program is designed to encourage business expansion in a community. The course focuses on teaching the art of better business practices, while producing a comprehensive business plan. Sections of the business plan are evaluated throughout the course. This coordinated process provides a method for alerting participants to any weaknesses in his or her business plan development, and ultimately moves toward keeping and growing a successful venture.

Students who complete the NxLevel Entrepreneurial training and create an acceptable business plan will receive a $100 completion award; attendance rules will be covered at the first class. Business plans submitted will be judged, and cash prizes will be awarded for the top 3 business plans.
