Typical Tigers Project Info
The Concept and Art of “Typical Tigers”
“Typical Tigers” is a collection of 3,900 randomly produced NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. These NFTs exemplify the endangered tigers in the wild population. Consequently, 50% of the net mint generated from the Typical Tigers NFT initiative will be donated to foundations that closely work on saving the endangered tiger species.
Additionally, Typical Tigers will donate to organizations so far:
Tigers4Ever https://tigers4ever.org/
Catty Shack https://cattyshack.org/
“We can save the Tigers, one NFT at a time, with your help.” — Typical Tigers.
Traits & Rarity
Typical Tigers were created to be distinct from others, similar to each wild tiger having their own set of interesting strip patterns. Each Typical Tiger is truly distinctive, with over 100 different qualities to choose from, including apparel, stripes, expression, and more.
How Did This Project Come To The Spotlight?
The media made a stir regarding Ethereum’s environmental impact on cryptocurrencies and NFTs. While others prepared themselves for the worst possible outcome, “Typical Tigers” sought to conserve tigers, by assessing the potential consequences of ecological harm.
In other words, “Typical Tigers” were actively working on the wild tigers future. Due to unpleasant and substandard environmental impacts, several animals have been placed in an “endangered zone.” Hence, Typical Tigers pledged to eliminate carbon dioxide emissions as a way to protect tigers that have been categorized as “endangered.”
To initiate the change, Typical Tigers announced their new partnership with Tigers4Ever. The core objective of the partnership was to reduce tiger deaths that were on a constant rise due to determinantal activities, such as poaching, poisoning, and retaliatory attacks.
Each collaborator was able to work towards saving the tigers by joining a distinguised carbon offset programme, which aimed to offset 100% of the carbon dioxide for each Typical Tiger minted with carbon credits.
Needless to say, the projects’ idea was unique. Typical Tigers, a digital art NFT (Non-Fungible Token) provider, created 3900 “Typical Tiger NFTs to symbolize the wild tigers that remain on this earth. Each time one of these Typical Tiger NFTs is sold, or minted, Typical Tigers NFT will donate 50% of the sale revenue to support Tigers4Ever’s wild tiger conservation activities.
Typical Tigers NFT listed a pre-sale of a small selection of its 3900 Typical Tigers to registered members. By doing so, they donated USD $400 to help fund the Tigers4Ever Anti-Poaching Patrols https://tigers4ever.org/patrols/ , enabling so Tigers4Ever to benefit from GlobalGiving matched bonus funds.
Community
For any NFT project, its community is significantly crucial. It is also one of the key reasons why Typical Tigers has reached the heights of success that they experienced. They have an incredible and enthusiastic support system. Evidence for this claim stems from their Twitter and Discord accounts.
After consulting with the team, we discovered that they had not paid for any sort of external advertising or marketing. Yes, you read that correctly — there’s no cost. Instead, they utilized their time by sharing their NFT Art, engaging in meaningful discussions on Twitter Spaces, and allowing the community to provide feedback regarding the project’s direction.
Furthermore, the community is the greatest reason behind the maximum sales of the collection and flop on launch day for several competing projects. The team behind “Typical Tigers” invested their time into forming a close-knit community.
Surprisingly, their Twitter Spaces have over a hundred of active people, at any given time. The activity within the Spaces alone is greater than the Discord account of numerous projects that we have encountered. On the other hand, the Typical Tigers Discord platform is always flooded with activity.
Typical Tigers is a community driven charity project consisting of 3,900 NFTs to represent the 3,900 Tigers that are currently left in the wild
