2012 DATO Board of Directors

The Durango Area Tourism Office (DATO) was established as a non-profit, public benefit corporation in 2003. The goal was to establish a unified tourism and destination-marketing agency to serve all of La Plata County.

DATO is led by a volunteer Board of Directors. This governing body specifically includes representation from government, the hospitality and business community and the cultural community.

At the end of this year, there will be three seats available on the DATO Board of Directors. Applications are now being accepted for the Winter Recreations Industry, Special Events and Entertainment Attractions and the Restaurant Industry seats.
