2700 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 250 ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE

 

Durango, CO – La Plata County Road and Bridge crews cleared the debris from the roadway in the 2700 block of County Road 250 today.   Although the debris flow has decreased, the road will remain closed due to the extended weather forecast of storms moving into the area Tuesday night through Wednesday night and again Friday night through Saturday.

 

Northbound traffic up to 2755 CR 250 should not be impacted by the closure.  All residents traveling north of 2755 County Road 250 must use an alternate route to access County Road 250 by traveling north on State Highway 550 to CR 252 (Trimble Lane).

 

County staff will continue to monitor the flooding and debris flow, and will open the road as soon as the conditions allow.
