Bank Robbery at Pine River Valley Bank – UPDATE

DURANGO, Colo. – At approximately 1:35 p.m., April 30, 2009, a bank robbery occurred at the Pine River Valley Bank, 1701 Main Avenue, Durango.


The suspect had a hypodermic needle in his hand and handed the bank teller a note. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money in a dark-colored bank bag, the suspect headed southbound on Main on foot.


The suspect is described as an olive-skinned male in his early twenties with a slight frame (approximately 5’6” and 130 pounds). He has short brown hair and was wearing a bright blue ball cap with an emblem on the front, a dark-colored long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and thick black-framed sunglasses.
