Bank Robbery at Vectra Bank

The Durango Police Department responded to a bank robbery today at Vectra Bank, 1101 East Second Avenue at 2:35 p.m. The suspect, a white male in his 20s stole an undisclosed amount of money   He is described as between 5’6″ and 5’10” in height, approximately 160 pounds, wearing sunglasses, a dark wool cap and dark clothing. He presented a note to the teller, and was extremely polite throughout the contact.  He fled northbound on Second Avenue then westbound on Twelfth.

 

No one was injured during the incident.
